  How have I not reviewed this place?!! Total oversight I am correcting now. It would not be an exaggeration to tell you to stop what you are doing and go to Jerusalem. I'd say if you're eating something else right now, box it to go for lunch tomorrow and go to Jerusalem.
  
  One does not go to Jerusalem for ambiance or fine dining. One goes to Jerusalem to eat good food and you will absolutely eat good food there. The shawarma...omg, the shawarma.  It. Is. Absolutely. Delicious. And the homemade sauces. Let's allow for a moment of reverent appreciation. The white garlic one - heavenly. The red one - it's like a flavor explosion. And the green one brings such a freshness. The only downside is there is never enough.
  
  One thing you should know about me is I'm not really a dessert person. I like dessert but I'm not one of those people who has to have it. Unless I'm at Jerusalem and then I will either eat myself sick or I will take it to go, writing death threats on the container to the family member who even THINKS about eating it.
  
  That shawarma tho -I swear, I can hear the angels singing while I eat it. It's that good. We get the beef and chicken combo which is served with pita and a little salad, hummus and rice. The portion is quite big. I nearly always have leftovers (yay! Bonus meal!). Nice grilled pieces of chicken and beef which you can top with those outrageously good sauces, and it's served over a bed of rice that is soaking up any juices. Yuuuuuuuuum.  My daughter has ordered the lamb special, which she graciously allowed me to taste and that is excellent as well. But I'm probably never going to be able to report on anything else, because I am eating that delicious shawarma EVERY SINGLE TIME.
  
  Just go. Go right now. In fact, you should only still be reading this because you're waiting for your order to arrive.

  Probably some of the best food and service we have had in a long time. The staff I would assume are father and son and they were very friendly and helpful when we were ordering for our first time. Not only did they offer great suggestions when we went to pay our bill he was made sure we were 100% satisfied with our visit. Once he found out it was our first time there he offered us a free slice of sweet cake.
  
  The prices were reasonable and the food was very fresh and bursting with flavor. We initially stopped in to the glowing reviews and we are very glad we did. I would recommend anynore to try this place out.

  I went with a bunch of friends after realizing HaufBrau was closed on Sundays and I'm extremely glad they were closed because the food here was so dang good. I ate everything on my plate and some! I hardly wanted to share! The staff is so nice and the chef even came out to ask us how we liked the food!
  
  Looks can be deceiving so don't judge the small hole in the wall set up because it's that good. We're definitely ordering from here again and coming back.

  Came here due to the reviews and this place did not disappoint. Service was great. Love seeing family run and kid involved businesses. The food was fresh and cooked to order. The chicken shawarma was excellent, hint put the garlic sauce on it and it is amazing! The falafel was good. Loved the rice. But the highlight for me was the baklava! This was simply THE best baklava I have ever had.

  Great food and customer service!! The server was probably the son and he did a great job letting us know if it was enough food to order. He was also very pleasant and humorous. We cleaned out all the plates so you know we are definitely going back!
